<img src="images/roles/Lighting.jpg" width="150" height="144" align="right">No actor wants to be in the dark, so it's up to the lighting technician(s) to ensure every part of the stage is lit and can be seen by all members of the audience.
After getting stage/actor information from the Director, the lighting technician will set out a lighting plan in the first instance, showing where the lights will be for each scene.
This will then be transferred to the lighting board and the actual lights put into place. It won't be until the first run-through takes place to know if the lights are set correctly and will usually need adjusting.
So why not have a go? You never know, it could be very illuminating!!!!!!!!
