News Hi

I have gathered your email from www.amateurdramatics.com and have no idea about what you do or whether you can offer any advice as to who to contact if this is not your remit. The website gave little detail in terms of what you provide so forgive me if this email sounds bizarre!

We are looking to put on an evening dinner Murder Mystery event in Hoton Village Hall in the Spring.

• We are looking to host a Murder Mystery evening in Spring with audience participation in some way.
• Preferably on a Saturday but can be flexible.

• Initial ideas are that we have a scene before starting to eat, probably where the murder takes place or is discovered. (Can you offer this?)

• Then a scene between courses to develop the plot and either give some clues or accept questions from the audience, or guests to write questions and pass them forward. (What is it that you provide?)

• If possible the players can mingle while guests eat. (we are open to suggestion as to whether a players sits at a table and moves to a different table between courses or that they are fed at a separate time)

• Do you provide the play ready rehearsed to go?
• Do you co-ordinate interested people if not or do you require someone to correlate rehearsals?
• Alternatively we have a murder mystery party pack that has been run successfully privately a few times that a group involved in acting could use.
(Which do you provide and what are the costs?)

I am sure there are lots more questions I should be asking but at this stage I am trying to get on top of the situation.

Many thanks Michelle

News Hi I am writing on behalf of Greasley Players at Moorgreen.

We have very good audiences but are very short of actors at the present.

There are some groups which are inactive at the moment like

Wollaton and we would make any actors wanting to get back on stage

in front of an enthusiastic audience very welcome.

We have just opened up a web page on www.greasleyplayers.co.uk for

details of location etc. Our next meeting will be 7.30pm on 14th. Jan 2010

at the Church Hall, Greasley, Moor Green, Notts for play reading for the

production in early May. Rehearsal nights usually Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Perhaps you could mention us in your newsletter or put up a link on the web site.

Cheers Graham Smith

News .
Tickets for Sleeping Beauty are available now online and in the local ticket retailers. Hurry because they're selling fast!

The local ticket retailers are East Leake Post office and the Olde Bake House pet shop (next door to the co-op).

To buy online just select Ticket Shop from the website menu and all you need is a (free) Google checkout account and some money of course If you don't have a google checkout account, don't worry, you can set one up for free in just a couple of minutes at Google Checkout

You can purchase up to 10 tickets per transactions and there is no limit to the number of transactions any one person can make. Once tickets have been paid for, the customer is sent a confirmation email with a code that they need to print off and bring along on the show night. We'll have tickets waiting there for them and just need their confirmation number for collection at the door.

Google charge a small fee of 3.4% + 20p per transaction (the same as paypal) which is added to the ticket cost on checkout. We're sorry we can't avoid this but it is the most economical method available to us to provide this online sales facility.
